C3 temp sending unit

Can anyone describe what type of temp sending unit would be corect for a 68 427/400? Also, would anyone know a source for the part?

All 1968 Corvettes used a pin terminal temp sender of GM #6400759. This unit was discontinued years ago and replaced by the GM #1513321 which is the button terminal unit used for 57-67 and 72-78. The GM #1513321 was also discontinued several years ago and replaced by GM #12334869 which has been reported to provide an inaccurate calibration.

The GM #6400759 is very difficult to find in NOS condition. Also, very expensive if you find one. Expect to pay $100+.
