We are doing two 1956 vettes to total restoration. We were told that the Vin Plates that came with the cars were made of Stainless Steel but both of these are Aluminum and look exactly the same, other then the vin number. We also checked out a 58 and it was also Aluminum. Also, the screws that hold them in place, are they a total pan head screw. These are about ready to go and we want to be sure things are correct.
