    Re: Radiator hose 1969 L-71

    Glen-----

The original PRODUCTION hose used on early 1969 L-36 and L-71 was GM #3947867. Later PRODUCTION used GM #3967433 and this hose continued to be used through 1972 for all big block applications except those with HD aluminum radiator GM #3007436. The GM #3947867 was never available in SERVICE. The GM #3967433 was discontinued from SERVICE in January, 1979 and replaced by the PRODUCTION and SERVICE upper radiator hose for 1973-74 LS-4 applications, GM #331876.

The GM #331876 remains available in SERVICE from GM to this very day for about 25 bucks, GM list. It will SERVICE your application perfectly. If you wish a reproduction of the original GM #3967433 with the original markings, Dr. Rebuild or other vendors can fix you right up for a price about the same as the GM hose.

That's pretty much the whole story.
