I'm not positive, but I believe the lamps were made in-house by Guide Lamp Division of GM (they made virtually all GM lamps). I'm not that familiar with the '80 model, but if there was a European Export version during that model year, there were clear-lens lamps made for it; your local GM dealer should be able to check his parts computer to see if Export lamps were made for it or are still available through the GM Europe parts system.- Top

You asked for smaller lights than on the Vette. Firebird and Camero have a smaller version on the 81 turn signal/cornering lamp. Does your 80 have cornering lamps? They have a white lens. I don't know if Firebird or Camero had clear lens, but if you went back far enough (model year)..... You should find some. Or at least have something to modify without screwing up the original part.- Top

John and Tim,
Thanks for your response. I will visit my local GM delaer and see what he can find. Now I can start asking for Camaro/Firebird lights.
The problem with Corvettes built around 1980 are that they were not allowed in Sweden due to exhaust regulations. For C3, 1980-82, I think it is only 70 cars registered. These were brought home as someones belongings when they moved to Sweden and these people needed to show that they owned the car for about a year before moving. Therefore there are no export version parts available. And yes, it is a combined park/turn signal.
Thanks & Regrards/Mikael- Top
