    C1- 61 Rear Bumper Brace

Having just assembled the body to frame, I'm requesting any help or suggestions on how to install the rear bumper (main) bracket/brace that runs the width of the car. The body mounting bolts have not been installed yet, but I did not want to add stress to the newly painted body by doing another lift.

    Dennis,
You can feed the long brace in from the drivers side wheel well NOT from the passenger side, it isn't easy but can be done. The hard part is getting it between the spare tire well and the tail lamp panel but it will flex just enough too make it. Have a buddy help pull it through from the other side as your pushing on it. It might stay bent a little but will straighten up when you bolt on your bumpers. Good luck!
