    Gold Line Radials

I'm in the market for 205/75R15 goldline radials for my '65.

Diamondback Classics is recommending the Firestone Supreme SI. It seems decent and they claim their vulcanization process keeps the black color from the tire from bleeding into the gold line over time.

Does anyone have an older Diamondback Classic goldline that can substantiate that claim?

Any other manufacturers of gold line radials out there other than Coker? I'm not a fan of Coker tires because their "gold" is alot more yellow than the original gold line bias plys.

    Thanks.

    Re: Gold Line Radials

I've got Diamondback redlines on my car. The stripe (gold in your case) is solid. That means if it gets too discolored, you can use fine sandpaper to make it look like new again. Discoloration seems to increase with the use of tire gloss sprays.
