On the TCS system the delay relay is fed by a brown/white wire. I am not getting power at the plug at the relay but I am getting voltage forward of the firewall on this wire. The AIM schematic shows a fusible link on this wire. The harness is still wrapped. What type of fusible link should I be looking for, and approximate location?
Second question, I bypassed part of the delay relay (by opening the contact point on the bimetallic strip)to test the function of the reversing relay. It actuates the solenoid as it is supposed to in 3rd and 4th, but top of case seemed very hot after a test drive. Normal? If it helps, the black wire that comes up from the transmission had been severed at some point and repaired with a butt connector.
