Hello,

I just recently received email from you with the subject "Happy Assumption". It was dated Monday August 12th at 1:55PM. It contained 2 attachments which were titled 1849232187[1].pif (94.3KB) and the other was 1849232189[1].jpg (2.25kb).

When I went to open the email, I received a popup indicating that Norton AntiVirus had detected the W32.Klez.H@mm virus.

Just letting you know you may have a bug running around on your pc.

That's one of the newest forms of the Klez.h@mm virus (which is now more prolific than the Sircam virus was 18 months ago), which harvests e-mail addresses from many sources and inserts them as proxy "from" addresses into messages it sends with infected file attachments (usually 45K-55K .zip files, but now single or multiple smaller ones as well). It didn't come from the "from" address in the message header.

Yes, and I just did a Norton antivirus scan on my computer this morning with they're updated virus scan. Nothing was found.
