In a 1967 Convertible should I find body paint overspray under the rugs in the rear compartment. Most of the area is plain Fiberglas but I have found paint overspray along the outside edges to about 12 inches in. My car is red, the overspray is red, but I also found some very pale yellow. Could it be possible the car was yellow at some time or was yellow the color of the primer.

You will find overspray all inside that area. These guys were sloppy and they needed to cover the inside edges. You will find all kinds of little goodies on the floor of these cars, like the outlines of parts that were layed down on the floors and shot with body or interior colors. Now for the yellow, As for my experience, there was no yellow primer used on these vehicles, however the glue for the carpets was yellow.
