    Clutch Linkage Adjustment

What is the procedure to adjust the clutch control linkage? I reviewed my 1966 assembly manual on this but want to get some feedback from the DB. Thanks

John- Good question! I always followed the service manual but would like to hear if anybody has a better way of doing this job. Pete

      Re: Clutch Linkage Adjustment

I adjust mine from under the car, with the return spring off. I can see, feel and hear that the clutch release (T.O.) bearing is .0672"-.125" away from the pressure plate. My clutch pedal is in the "fast shift" (low) position, and I like to be sure that the (T.O.) bearing isn't engaged while I'm cruising down the highway. - Dave
