Please help tips for installing 60 door panels.

Anything between 60 window crank and door panel to protect metal from crank?

Am going to install new panels and would appreciate any tips or helpful hints on cutting the holes for the cranks and door locks.

Andy, there is a thin plastic piece that goes between the window crank and the door panel. Look at the AIM or any of the Covette supplier books such as Paragon and it shows a breakdown of the correct sequence of items. There is a rubber seal inside the door on the regulator as well as a spring that applies outward pressure on the window crank.

Are you talking about location of the holes in the door itself? The door panels and sheet metal have holes aready cut. I used my existing doors so I didn't have to cut any new holes. I don't know if the AIM has location dimensions or not.

New sheet metal won't have holes. Cut the sheet metal in the center of the hole in the door panel just large enough for the regulator shaft. The spring will press on the metal and keep it flush with the crank handle.
