To line up the disc while tightening the pressure plate, I use an old transmission input shaft instead of those plastic things you get with a clutch kit. I think it's more precise.
Anyway, I've got an extra old input shaft that I will give to anyone who wants it. Just e-mail me if you're willing to pick it up or pay the UPS shipping cost.
Thanks Jerry. My clutch was a casualty of Monterey. I was looking for one, not only for the clutch install, but to verify the bellhousing was indexed correctly to the centerline of the crank as well. Couldn't have come up at a better time.
