I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the car owners and companies that took the time, effort and spent the money to bring their cars to Monterey for us to enjoy. Many owners had their cars trucked in from long distances at considerable expense for us to view and enjoy on the track. All were very gracious and enjoyed conversing about our wonderful hobby. It is very refreshing to see the cars that many of us have only seen in magazines in person and on the track. Thank you all again! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

I want to thank the Southwestern Chapters Consortium for putting on a convention that topped our highest expectations, and those were high for those of us that attended in 1987!

Re: Monterey - Thank You!
I thank all the folks who planned, organized, and administered the event. The execution was flawless as far as I was concerned, but I'd like to know why we never got a place to wash our cars.
I understand the overall reason, just not the details of this specific instance. Notwithstanding the many car events that Monterey hosts, I would place it about number two behind Santa Barbara as the most car-hating town in the country. Seems odd, but that's my take on the situation based on my own personal experiences and observations.
