Re: C3...Wiper blade
Bruce: The wiper blade has a black metal insert to which the rubber is mounted.
The rubber blade has the following wording just below the metal insert " One or more patents 2543383 2687544 2697241 2766474 2834976 BR 790496 CAN 52.55.58 Pat Prending". Two raised rubber ribs are below the wording on the body of the blade.- Top

Re: C3...Wiper blade
Easy to get confused here with terminology. The term "blades" typically means the blade holder + rubber refill as unit to snap onto the wiper arms. There's a difference in factory original blade holders of the era vs. today's 16-inch functional replacements from Trico (deals with exact geometry of blade holder's upper bridge and black vs. non-blackened finish).
The same goes for the rubber refills. How is the sidewall of the rubber reinforced now vs. then and what is the color/finish of the metal rails that hold the rubber? If you can find old Trico stock in a ma/pa autoparts store packaged in a cardboard box (red, white & blue with photo of Camaro) under the Trico stock number 41-160, you've most likely stumbled a 'hit' on matching the factory original refills for your blade holders!- Top
