    1960 oil pan drain plug

Are all drain plugs on 1960 Corvettes in the center?

    Pete----

As far as I know, yes. In fact, I believe that this was true for all 57-62 Corvette oil pans.

The three-step C1 oil pan had the plug in ther center of the deepest section. It is serviced by a 7/8 ths wrench. They were zinc plated and painted over orange. It is a magnetic style plug with trimmed head usually showing a C-F, A (in a circle), or TR headmark.
