Do some people repeatedly delete their question posts after they get the answer? I don't get it. If you're in Threaded List / Guestbook / Mixed Order preference mode you can see who made the post, link to their profile and the like, just not read the post. I'm thinking it's an ask and run tactic with an attempt to not leave a papertrail in the archives of having asked the question. But since the identity of the poster remains, even if the post disappears, that certainly can't be the reason.... Curious behavior indeed. ~Juliet

Re: Why delete the question after the answer is ha
I think of these threads as a database of knowledge, a legacy of sorts. From that perspective it is a bit selfish and distructive to delete the question.
There have been several times when I almost decided not to post the question because I thought it was not interesting to others. There have been several of these cases where my question led to a fairly long thread or appeared to trigger other questions.
And of course, none of this would work without the people who have the knowledge and answer the questions.
Thanks Everyone!
