    C2

Hello, I am new to the hobby and soon to be an owner of a 65 roadster
327-350, nicely restored but no real docs. Can anyone suggest a good place
to start in gathering basic maintenance literature for specs, etc?
Also, am looking for a good restorer of a hardtop which is quite rough.
    I live in North Carolina.
Looking forward to much future conversation-great site. John Pickens

    John:

A good place to start is right here! Go to the "NCRS Store" link, and purchase the following publications:

    1963 Shop Manual
    1965 Shop Manual Supplement
    1965 Owner's Manual

These are absolutely essential in order to carry out proper maintenance on your "new" Corvette. If you would like to know how the car was assembled, with graphics, and part numbers, then order:

    1965 Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM)

Finally, if you are interested in knowing every detail of how your car looked when it was first delivered, then get:

1965 Corvette Technical Information And Judging Guide, Fourth Edition (TIM&JG)

Good luck, and enjoy your '65.

    Joe

        On the hardtop....

a number of folks provide restoration services, but in my book, the fellas that put their foot down and growl doing high quality work in this specialty field are:

        Glassworks
        (888) 340-7812

They supply most of the catalog houses with repro side/rear glass, fasteners, Etc. and DO turn-key top restorations as well.
