1968 corvette .. thoughts on getting it judged

The 1968 corvette that so many of you fellow NCRS memebers have freely given of your time to help educate me was orginally purchased as a driver .. at least so I thought .. now that I am looking over our recent purchase (my wife loves corvettes as much as I do) I see many numbers that seem to be orginal and apply to the car .. some issues have been answered by you the fellow NCRS memebers ..others I hope to find resolution through connecting past owners .. but I am most curious as to how much is really correct so what are your thoughts on getting this car NCRS judged ? How do I get started? The outcome is to help define the areas of non-orginal componenets ...

Is there an easy way to get a full title search on the car?

Don't hesitate to have it judged. You'll learn more about your can than you ever imagined from guys that more more about your car than you ever imagined. The judging sheets will be the basis for any improvements you'll want to make to the car. It's the cheapest investment of time and money you'll ever make on your car. Good luck.

There is no way I know of to get a full title search, other than contacting the DMV in the state it was last registered in (and the previous owner) and trying to go backwards from there; this is an exercise in persistence (and frustration), as most state DMV's don't maintain records for more than 8-10 years back, and many will now deny you any information at all, citing the maze of recent privacy laws.
