    1966 Undercoating & Blackout procedure

Was the windshield washer bottle bracket in place when the front wheel wells were undercoated ?? The real question is -- should the rivets that attach the windshield washer bottle bracket to the fender/wheel well be covered with undercoating ??

    thank you

The bracket was there before any of the painting operations, so the answer is ????? well maybe. If you are refering to the rivet heads in the wheel well area the answer is ??? well maybe. The real answer is, well maybe, there was a very wide variance in how much if any undercoating was applied. Some cars have a lot, some have nearly none, and AO Smith cars are another story. So basically you are left to decide just how much and where it is applied. But since the rivet heads were there when the operation was done they would have recieved it if that area recieved any.

      Thanks Wayne

There is undercoating on the wheelwells so the rivet heads should also have it.
