This dist. is all electronic advance (1981). And correct for the car. (not a centrifical unit !)
To set curb advance I unplug the computer connector. 5 degrees simple enough right? But if I rev it up to say 1500-1800 rpm, the advance jumps to 10 or 11 degrees. ????!!! (still not pluged in to the computer)
End play has been tightened up with new and thicker shims but no change. ????!!!!!
Where is the advance coming from????????
