c1 tank felt size

I just purchased the Zip products tank felt, is it the right size
as recieved or do I need to trim it down. I can not find any specs
in the AIM and while it seems to fit there is about an 1 inch section
that seems to not fit at the bottom edge of the cover where there is
a molded radius that curves to the back. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It probably fits. Most any size would. It's nothing but an anti-squeak device. It goes between the tank and where it sits to prevent noise if it were to move. If it prevents the tank from touching the fiberglass when strapped down, it is the right size.

Chris, I am not referrring to the anti-squeak pads that sit underneath
the gas tank. I am asking about the Felt that gets glued to the top of the fiberglass tank cover and protects the soft-top from getting scratched.
It seems slightly oversized and I was wondering if it mattered what size I
should cut it to, if at all???
