    posi rear end storage

I just pulled the posi out of my 62 and put in a new one. My old one ran great so I want to store it properly. What is the best way to store these? Someone mentioned they make a plastic case like they do for cranks. Any ideas where to get these?

    Thanks

    Todd.

    Todd----

Grease the gears with chassis grease and place the unit inside of a heavy duty plastic bag. Squeeze out all of the air that you can and tie the plastic bag tightly with a wire tie. Then, place the whole thing inside of another plastic bag and do the same thing. Finally, place it into a protective crate. You can obtain a plastic commercial variety or just make one youself from 2X4s and plywood. For a plastic case, try Tom's Differentials of Paramount, CA (www.tomsdifferentials.com).
