    Weather stripping

I am putting my 69 coupe back together and I am having trouble deciding what supplier to use. I want to use weather stripping that is like the originals but I can not tell what ones are quality and what is junk, Any suggestions, The archives do not seem to have a specific brand
    Thanks again

Most of the GM weatherstrip for your 69 is now discontinued, so, although GM weatherstrip is the best in my opinion, that's not going to be much of an option for you. The windshield pillar weatherstrip is among those few pieces still available but at a righteously high price of $147.63 per side (these pieces are about 14" long).

Other than GM, I'd go with high quality US or Canadian made weatherstrip. Dr. Rebuild carries such weatherstrip and other suppliers probably do, too. However, I KNOW that Dr. Rebuild does and I don't know which others do. Dr. Rebuild may also have some NOS GM weatherstrip sprinkled about his catalog here and there. You never know with that rascal.
