    Chambered Exhaust

I have an all original '67 427/390 which I would like to install a nicer sounding exhaust system on. There is no sweeter sound than a big block with side pipes, but do to the originality of my car installing side pipes is out of the question. Here are my questions:

    1. I've read about the undercar chambered exhaust systems and would like to know if anyone out there currently has this system on their car and what the + and - of these systems are, and who makes the best system.

    2. If the chambered exhaust system is not an option then what would NCRS members recommend for after market mufflers, etc.. to make a nice deep sounding, exhaust system.

How about the "off road exhaust"? Seems like it would solve your sound requirements without hurting the originality. I know GM's discontinued it also, but seems like somebody was repopping em.
