    1961 engine build

I scanned the archives and came up with the following configuration for my engine - please comment and correct me if I'm wrong. Building a 283CI for my '61 Vette, plan to use 461 heads with 64cc chambers, block is bored .030" over, install 151 cam with standard hydrolic lifters. What would the compression ratio be using flat-top pistons and what would it be using domed pistons? I could use thin head gaskets (.022") or thicker ones at .050". How much would the difference in gasket thickness affect compression ratio? Plan to run this engine on the street (daily driver?). I can install one wcfb, dual wcfbs or FI. I have 411 gears in the back but I have others up to 308. All constructive views/comments will be appreciated. Thanks, John.

go to http://www.bgsoflex.com/auto.html for a compression ratio calculator that you can plug in any number you want.
