    Cylinder Heads

I have been searching the internet, with absolutely no luck, for information about World Products Torquer cylinder heads. I recently bought a slightly used set of these, and since I am away at college, I have yet to see them. They were bought with no rocker studs, and I can not get a definite answer as to what size they are. I was told that they were 3/8", top and bottom, but I can find no manufacturers (ARP, Crane, Mr. Gasket, etc.)who have anything but studs with a 3/8" top, 7/16"-14 bottom. Does anyone know what these heads require. (On a side note, why does ARP not recommend using stock crimped style rocker arm nuts with their studs?) I wanted to know so I could order the parts ahead of time, so I can install the heads this weekend when I go home. Also, the instruction on World Products website recommend head bolt washers. I have a set of fairly new (have been torqued once) of grade 8 headbolts, and figured I would use those. Can washers be used with these, or do I need special bolts for the washers? If anyone out there knows anything about these, I would appreciate the advice. Thanks for your help, Dan

i have never seen any 3/8" X 3/8" rocker studs. using crimped nut with screw in studs could cause you to unscrew the stud when adjusting the valves. i have seen this happen on BB chevy.

Thanks Clem, do you have any ideas as to why World Products would recommend head bolt washers. Thanks again, Dan

you always use washers with aluminum heads, and you can use them with C.I. but you need to check the length of the head bolts because you loose 1/8" of thread engagement using the washers. if you use stock GM bolts i would say you do not need washers but with after market ones check to see if they have a washer type head to prevent the hex from digging into the head. most after market head bolts are longer to be used with washers.
