Need Source for 15-8 Trim Ring 1969 and up

We are looking for a source for trim rings for the 1969 and up 15"x8" rally wheels. These would be for a driver car and could be repo. Years ago I purchased a set of reproduction trim rings from JC Whitney that were 3" wide and they matched the originals pretty good except for an indent bead on the outside ring. This was ok for our driver.

I recently purchased another set from JC Whitney and the rings that came this time were different. When we put them on the car they immediatly looked odd. I measured the center opening and it turned out to be smaller than the originals. The smaller hole measured across the inside center 11 3/4", and the originals measured across the inside center 12 1/4". The one with the smaller hole when the ring is on the car, you can get your fingers behind it to pull it off. Both rings had a width of 3".

Does anyone know of a source for trim rings where across the inside hole measures the same as the originals? Does this reproduction still exist or is my only source GM?

    Thank you stano #25309

Doc Rebuild has GM service replacements. They are a four clip design, but the clips are not oriented exactly like the production rings. On the production rings, there is a clip at the valve stem hole, and three others are at 90 degrees from there. The service rings still have four clips, but the valve stem hole is between two of the clips. I bought a set in 2000, and he had a whole bunch left, still in sealed GM boxes.
