I was thinking of undercoating my chasis and i wanted to know if anyone used any special tools such as eastwoods undercoating gun with the extension wands? Does anyone have any other methods they use to undercoat a chasis? Is rustolem paint the best method? I heared ruberized undercoating could trap in water and wax undecoationg from the undercoating shops are pretty good. Any thoughts? Eric

Re: Undercoating
I used a spraygun & wand setup I bought from the J.C.Whitney catalog. Your local body shop supply store carries a sprayable undercoating made by 3M Corp that flows out nicely and will probably screw right onto the spraygun (it's been awhile, but I seem to recall that it did). I had previously had the frame chemically-dipped to remove rust, and I painted the outside with Imron self-etching primer and 2-stage paint. I taped off all holes in the frame and used the various wands to access the frame through the access holes, re-taping each hole as I moved to the next.- Top
