According to www.vettefinders.com/78registry/1978html, they indicate that the L-82 engine was not available these following states. California,Maryland,Florida,Oregon.Grandrapids Mich.,Boston mass,DesPlaines,Barrington and Cook county Illinios. Is this true?
The engine in my car is Vo321CUT -188901985 Car #1985 Iknow this to be a l-48.
Any info from GM or any reputable persons or dealer is absolutly welcome.

They had completey agreed with me ,and the info is right in the silver annversary manual or the 1978 product info guide. Thanks all.
