C3 1968 Dash Area Insulation

I know the Trans Tunnel had insulation, but did the 68's have insulation on the inside of the firewall(passenger compartment) and under the dash area, or was the insulation just in the engine compartment, on the outside of the firewall and the trans tunnel area?

In the 68 model year it depends on the build date of your car. Early cars I'm well versed in others not as.

There is a blanket fire wall insulation that is both adhered by adhesive as well as attached with fasteners to the inner fire wall.

Most of the repro vendors sell them in the $200.00 to $250.00 range.

The build date on this 1968 is March 29, 1968. Thanks for any and all help.

I have an early build 68. It had the firewall insulation. When I had the dash out I should have spent the $225 from Dr. Rebuild and replaced it. Now my feet cook in the summer.

Spend the $ it is a good investment.
