I have a 1969 Corvette with factory MANUAL BRAKES. I wish to convert this car to power brakes. I want to add a vacuum assist booster from a power brake 1969 car, and add a new master cylinder. Can this be done? I see in the AIM the brake housing and exterior fiberglass cover are different part numbers for manual and power brake cars in 1969. I see kits in Corvette Central for manual to power conversion, so I assume it is possible? I KNOW the firewall only has 2 holes in it to mount the master cylinder, would one simply relocate 4 holes for the booster studs? I see the steel pedal housing appears teardrop shaped BEHIND the fiberglass cover, so the booster can be mounted lower to clear the hood. Looking at the pedal housing from the inside of the car, it looks much different than my original power brake 1972 car. Anybody know about this? This is a NOM car, so I am not too worried about keeping it original. Thanks for any information! Thanks! Mark
