On my 1967, the passenger side rear is an 1/2 " lower then the drive's side. Can anybody let me know the best way to raise it so they are level? I recently replaced the shocks and had the leave spring re-tensioned. Thanks to anybody that can help!!

Re: 1967 Rear End
Mike; You could put the adjustable bolts out at the ends of the spring and set the heigth any-where you want it. Since you had your sprind apart this may be the best way to get the car level but you can try turning each leaf from their current side to the other side one or two at a time, at least the ones in the center of the spring. 1/2" is'nt that much to corect and this might work but will be tireing. Another deal could be the amount of torque on the center clamping bracket (left vs right) try letting off of the side that needs to be higher. Also make sure the center bracket is centered on the bottom of the spring. Be sure and roll the car out pretty good after every time you lift off the ground. David- Top
