Mandrel-Bent Tailpipes for a 62

Although I would prefer to find a supplier that sells 2-1/4" tailpipes, I am resigned to compromising with 2". Is there a supplier that sells mandrel bent 2" stainless tailpipes. My local shops that do stainless can only smash-bend and are not interested in attempting 2-1/4".

will be glad to sell you a mandrel bent STAINLESS STEEL exhaust system in any size you wish. Generally, the bigger, the better! I think that a three inch system is the largest he handles.

Allen's Exhaust Maximum 1-7/8 Tailpipes

Dale, I spoke to the folks at Allen's and for the 62 they will only go as large as 1-7/8" tailpipes and draw bent only. If I take may car to them, they will try 2" but only in draw bent. Do you know any others that will make mandrel bent? Thanks for the help.

I run a 2 1/2 inch aluminized exhaust system all the way through due to the larger cu.in. displacement of my engine. My local muffler shop made the entire system and it's been A-OK for the past 12 years. I didn't quibble about mandrel vs drawn tooling. Just shop around for an artesian willing to do the work.
