I picked up a couple gallons of a Texaco Haviland(sp?) brand 5-year Extended Life coolant that claims it dissipates heat better than water. With conventional coolants (which don't cool as well as water), it is usually recommended keeping the percentage of coolant-to-water to no more than 50% to retain the cooling capability. This is a tradeoff with its corrosion resistance.
This Texaco stuff claims to actually increase the boil-over point as the percentage of coolant in your cooling system increases.
Does anyone have any experience with this product or know anything about it? It seems like it might help my summer overheating problems. It's a bright orange color as compared to the traditional green!
