    A.I.R. tube availability

Good evening to all of you. FYI. I talked with my local Chevy dealer when he called to inform me that my AIR tube trees are no longer available. He did a nationwide search and came up with one. I called that dealer and the tube is incorrect but is the number that Joe Lucia stated. It is totally tapered instead of the "squished" design where the small tube exits the large tube. Gary

    Gary-----

Well, I guess this means that reproduction is going to be your only option now. They'll be "correct", too. Unfortunately, they'll cost a lot more than the GM pieces.

Apparently, as far as the GM parts go, this is another case of "another two bite the dust". In fact, I don't think that it'll be too much longer and the 53-82 parts catalog will be just an historical document and not a reference usable for obtaining active and available part numbers. Then, I'll have to resort to my collection when I need something.
