C3 A/C Compressor

I have a 79 vette the A/C compressor has started making a noise
is there a rebuild shop out there that can rebuild my A/C compressor so I can keep my same compressor that came with my vette. need phone numbers and names and address of some rebuild shops for A/C compressors

My wife has a '75 with air. The compressor was noisy at start-up and it would go away in about 2 minutes. I found the problem to be the front bearing. I found one through a Chevrolet dealer and he replaced it without cutting into the freon system. The service manual describes the procedure.

Ther is a place in Ft Worth I believe their name is Vintage Auto Air. They advertise in Hemmings all the time. Supposed to be very good.
