I was just wondering if their is a second build sheet in the car, like under the dash or above the inst. cluster. the car is a 67

I've heard this rumor also, but in years of foolin' with a lot of different cars from mid years to multiple 69's, I've never seen one anywhere but the tank on a Corvette. In the Chevelles and Camaros they're liable to turn up most anywhere and some have been reported with as many as 3. Both my LS6 Chevelles had one under the right front seat and in the driver's door panel also. I just had the whole dash out of one of my 67 cars and was all under the other one for reference in running a new harness and neither had any surprises under the dash, except for a clutch safety switch on one that I'm still baffled over.

Jay,

I doubt it's common with mid-years, (after all, your 67 was the first year to have tank stickers), but I have read many posts about finding a build sheet stuffed under the dash (I believe, behind the instrument cluster) on late seventies to eighties models.

Hello, I found another copy of the sticker folded between the steering column and the dash of my 70. I was able to find it only after I lowered the column to remove the left dash.

Never found one on a 67, but found many on the Sharks, between guages, in frame rails etc.

I found a second build sheet stuck inside the frame by the steering box, but of course it was in little pieces after sand blasting.

A second build sheet was located in my '70 behind the gague cluster up near the AC vents. Fortunately that one was there because the original tank and tank sticker was gone when I purchased my '70 from the original owner. ~Juliet
