    Re: Carb Restoration

Donald - their website lists the service at $125 per 2bbl unit....$375 for all three. This sounds high compared to Jerry Luck. Also, they list $225 for the 2bbl rebuild, also 3 required. Maybe Jerry has gone up, but he was getting $400 for all three rebuilt last time I checked...Craig

    Re: Carb Restoration

You are correct Craig. The first post I was using an old catalog with a price of
$40/carb to replate or $160/carb to restore.CPI inflation indexs dont apply to Vettes.

Hi Don - I saw you deleted your original post apparently when I was in the process of responding, and subsequently modified your post. Nice to know Quanta does this, but it seems a little pricey comparted to the restorers. Thx!....Craig

Sheldon/Bryan - I know Jerry has had shoulder trouble and heard he is backed way up. I didn't see him at Bloomington or Carlisle this year....Craig

              Re: Carb Restoration

I tried to get a date coded rebuilt Holley list 3367 for my 66 327/300 from Jerry Luck for almost two years. He wouldn't return my phone calls. A thread about a year ago indicated others were having the same problem. One of our chapter members who knows Jerry has not seen him at any of the big shows for almost two years. I bought mine from Craig Woodward, Youngstown, Ohio, who comes highly recommended by Bairs, Corvette World, Bill Clupper, etc. I haven't started my engine yet to check the carb but expect to shortly.
