C1 5 1/2 inch wheels

If anyone has an original 5 1/2 wheel I would appreciate any information to help identify these wheels from the various attempts to replicate.
Center hole dimension - 2 7/8? Drop dimension from lip of rim to lip of center hole? Offset? Is the center section the same as the 5 inch wheels? Anything else to help identify. Thanks for your help.

The C1 5-1/2" wheel had a 2.786" center hole (vs. 2.91" for the 5" wheel), 0.44" offset, and the I.D. of the rim (at the drop center) was 12.648".

Thanks John. I also found those numbers in Colvin's book. Have you ever verified on an original wheel. In particular the center hole diameter? John

No, I haven't - if I had an original 5-1/2" wheel, I'd probably put it in a safe-deposit box . Dale Pearman (varooom@usit.net) may be able to help you - he knows that wheel quite well.
