Laquer Paint.

We have a 67' corvette coupe marlboro maroon straight laquer no clear.
What is the best polish and wax out there to use for this?

Anything without a cleaner. I like meguiars. Make sure your paint is at least 3 months old before waxing... Bill

I too like Meguires #26 Yellow Wax and #7 Show Car Glazing Compound.
But I prefer Mothers Pure Carnuba Wax #3. I find it easier to go on , easier to remove and very little wax dust. My $.02

There is nothing better than good old Simoniz in the yellow can (or any other straight Carnauba wax, like Blue Coral).This is nothing but 99 44/100% pure Carnauba wax. I have always found that it lasts longer than any other product, and is especially superior for use on old fashioned finishes like lacquer. It does, however, require a lot of elbow grease, but after all "no pain, no gain".

Everyone has their favorite product - mine is Meguiar's "Gold Class" liquid; easy on, easy off, great gloss, very durable. Works for me.
