    C2 Electrical problem-new

My 65 roadster has the stock power antenna with switch on panel below ignition.
The motor appeared to randomly turn on while driving, even with antenna up.
An investigation of the switch reveals a broken, burned(and previously repaired)
housing, and the antenna is frozen. So far I have found no replacement switches available. Has anyone tried replacement switch such as a single power window switch? Any other repair ideas? Thanks.

    John -

I installed a new marine quality switch in the old housing. See my post way down below, "C2 66 Power Antenna Switch" on Cctober 4.

In November of 2000 I purchased a switch from Corvette World in Greensburg, Pa. They had it in stock and shipped it the same day. Their number is 724-837-8600. Good luck!
