'57 Front license bar bolts

The judging guide says that the front license bar is attached by "indented hex head machine screws". My question is..What size screws and is there a head marking?...thanks

The indented head bolt thread is 10 X 24. The backside of your bumperette bar strap should have a hole tapped for a 10 X 24 thread. There is a lock washer and flat washer on each bolt as well. I don't know what, if any, logo the bolt head might have. Mine (not original) look suspiciously like stainless steel. Regards,

The crossbar bolts on my 56, which I have every reason to believe are original, are 10/24 with an indented head - and no head marking. I can't verify mine are stainless, since they are pretty rusty. Steve

The (rusty) originals on my '57 also had no headmark - I found an exact #10-24 match in one of the zillion cardboard fastener drawers at the hardware store.
