can anyone tell me the correct installation order of the screws, bushings, wavy washers and acorn nuts used to installing the lower rear bow on the convertible top frame of my '60. I'm not sure how the bushings go into the rear bow and the top frame. some say the bushing brims have to rub against each other, others tell me to install both bushings from the outside of each part facing the inside of the car. Thanks Don Izzo

Re: convertible top rear bow installation
Don,
If your '60 is like a '56, from the inside outward would be as follows: the large slot head screw, wave washer (I seem to recall), bronze bushing head facing outward, second bronze bushing (fits inside the deck bow) head facing inward (both bushing faces face each other), acorn nut. Regards,- Top
