Hello everyone, Just pulled the radio out of my 63 Z06 and found an irregular cut out. Looks as if someone drilled the corner and cut it out from there. Now the question is: if this hole was cut out by the factory was it done as tidy as the clock, vent knobs etc..? Upon initial investigation there was some confusion on whether the antenna had the correct ground straps for an AM only car. (Feb) or an AM/FM setup. Any thoughts would be appreciated. If this isn't a factory hole any restoration tips would be welcome. Larry Boden

Re: c2-radio hole cut out
The car may have been a radio delete. The radio might have been installed later. My 63 has a sharp clean cut out. The dash surround is fibreglas covered with vinyl. The radio opening has a trim molding around it. I would think between the vinly covering and the trim bezel you could hide the damage.- Top
