    Oil filter bypass valve

    Does anyone know if the bypass valve for canister type filters is still available from Chevrolet and if so what the current part # is?

      No, it's discontinued. It was GM #5573979, but it was discontinued several years ago.

              Paragon has the valve, gasket, and bolts.
