I am in the process of rebuilding the A/C system on my '69 L-68 and have run into a snag. The Suction Throttling Valve (STV) is no longer available from my usual sources, and even if it was, it appears to be different from the original in their catalogs. I have the original valve, but it has been open for at least the last 20 years (that I know of) and it's probably toast. Can this be rebuilt, or if not, is there a source for original style new valves? Any advice is always appreciated.
