quick question - do C5s (specifically year 2000)have build sheet? If so, where are they typically located?

There may be several found on the car. I know that at least one is supposed to be rolled and tucked into the driver's side hydro-formed frame rail. Whether it's easily accessible, I don't know.

contact the national corvette museum and for a fee they will sell you one. they are in the front crossmember on the driver side but i never tried to access one.

if you are not a member of the NCM that would be a good time to sign up. if they had opened earlier important corvette info may not have been lost.

There has been an article in Corvette Fever on how to retrieve the build sheet from the frame rail. I think it was several months back. As I recall, it's not an easy task. You can also email the C5 expert there, Mike Norris, that writes C5 Solutions. The email address is published in the tech articles at the back of the magazine. The C5 Registry guys might be another good resource.
