C-3 Radio Problem 1968

I have a 68 Original AM-FM Radio that works now and then. It will always work on AM, and when I first start the car after it has been sitting, the FM works fine than disappears. But, after a while the FM comes and goes again. Any suggestions(and NO I WILL NOT REPLACE IT WITH AN AFTERMARKET - HA! HA!)

There's really only one solution to this problem, regardless of what the root cause is. That solution is to remove the radio and send it out to someone experienced in repair of these radios. There are many such sources. United Radio in Syracuse, NY is one excellent source.
