    Shipping brake lines

Before I call to complain to a vendor I thought I'd seek justification here. I ordered a Left to Right crossover line for the front of my '68 and the vendor bent it severely in several locations to make it fit in the box for shipping.

I'm sure that I can probably bend it back into shape so that it is functional, but this is not really what I had in mind. As well as I assume it will probably be "my fault" if the line cracks from the stress of repeated bending/straightening.

Am I expecting too much, or is this behavior to normal to ship these parts?

That's normal. The fuel line is even worse. My came bent around like a paper clip. And it is difficult to straighten out perfectly without minor bobbles or waves. I think UPS has a 60" max on shipping stuff like that so bending it around is unavoidable.
