Fortunatly it's not kinked. But it looks like they bent it in three places to make it fit in the box. I'll see if I can get it back into shape tomorrow.

I hope I'm not being dumb in asking this, but how are you bending the lines straight? I've only ordered brake lines once. I was also suprised how the long ones were bent. Please bear with me as this next part is a little hard for me to describe. I straightened them by laying a long non-bent part on the garage floor, then pushing the bent part towards the floor while keeping this bent part 90 degrees, each side, with respect to the floor. Once I got it to the floor I picked it up and, if you will, bent it slightly 'past center' to where it was virtually straight when I released pressure. I apologize if this is common knowledge and I've just wasted bandwidth and people's time.

Basically the same idea. I only ordered the crossover tube so it is not that long. I still have the original so I'm placing them against each other and using the old one as a template. I am working from the middle out. With any luck I will not end up too long at either endComment
